P0235-17 (2A) Supercharger Boost Sensor.

Good evening, I am the proud owner of a Disco 4 and have been for 5 months. Now I finally have my first error code in the car and the dealer wants to steal thousands of euros out of my pants.

I'd love to hear your opinion on this code.
DTC: P0235-17(2A)Turbocharger/supercharger Boost sensor A circuit -General electical Failure - Circuit Voltage Aboce Threshold.

Disco: 1590/AAX, SVD6

Thanks Smile and Happy new Year

It's probably not of much help but I had:

P0235-16 - Turbocharger/supercharger
boost sensor A circuit - General
electrical failure - circuit voltage below
threshold (2B)

It was the secondary turbo pressure sensor, bought as an assembly (LR014386) but I just swapped the sensor and left the original pipe in place as it's cold and wet out and I'm a bit of a fair weather mechanic these days! Wasn't showing any warning lights or any noticeable symptoms, just showed up when I scanned it.

I confirmed it was the sensor by testing a known good one from another car. This was the only video I could find ?si=_W1tzXMPgTlzp6xn

It's a different code to yours so may not be relevant at all but it might point you in the right direction. Oddly there's loads of resources online for the D3 but I've found it hard researching the 4.
