Suspension calibration cautionionary note |

Hello all,
Firstly apologies in advance if this is covered elsewhere.
Just a cautionary tale regarding calibration of eas.
I have had my vehicle for approx 3 years and when measuring the suspension heights front n/s was always 15 ish mm low regardless of how level the ground was when parked up, so i decided on Saturday to take the plunge and calibrate suspension even though i have had no other issues with it.
Yesterday i went for a drive and suspension warning light came on , dropped height to floor and warning in dash.
Now i was a bit shocked because i had used the "guided method " and was very careful with measurements.
So why the issues? Well, when i re attempted the calibration i took the i pad to each wheel with me instead of going back to the bench to click "next" and it turns out the rear suspension was lifting back up after i altered it so when on my original method i clicked "next" i was entering the wrong values without knowing. Consequently all the settings were and once i got to 70mph the S***t hit the fan!
So if you attempt this task keep your eye on each corner and dont click"next" unless your measurement is correct, if the car does alter it redo it and click next asap.
Now i know the experts on here dont need this advice but if you are new to the iid tool i hope this proves useful to you.
This could of course just be some wierd anomaly on my d3 and may not happen to anyone else.
Suffice to say the suspension is now ok .

Just to let people know I had this problem and the I carsoft lr v3 were easily capable of doing height calibration cheers

Yes, useful info and thanks to Bensla for resurrecting the thread. Mine lets you finish the calibration before deciding that it would prefer to have one corner a bit higher. I suspect, though, that for those of us with this problem the issue is with the height sensor, rather than the IID tool itself. Previously:
