Discovery 4 V8 5l , exhaust upgrade ideas
Hi, Eoin here.
I’m currently on my 4th Discovery. 1 D3 and 3 D4s.
2 of which i still have , One Diesel TDV6 2015 which was my pride and joy until recently
when after which I imported 2009 Early model 5 Litre Petrol V8. 6 years older with have the
mileage, and she runs amazing.
Anyways, I’ll cut to the chase. For me it’s just to quiet for a V8. I really bought her with this in
mind, to turn it into something that really shows off that Jaguar engine sound. Has anyone here
done something similar ?
Found one on YouTube that took the mid resonator out and replaced with an xPipe , took the second
muffler off and straight piped it and lift the factory resonators at the back.
I’m probably going to so similar but if anyone’s got any tips/suggestions done on a similar model D4
I’d love to hear.

I was thinking that and then after a wonderful night of revving engines at the pre f1 race party in Montreal, the inevitable… clogged cats. (on the xkr)
So, 200 cell cats were substituted for the factory 600 cells, everything else left the same. And the sound is so much better.2015 LR4 HSE Lux Aintree Green
