Fuel injector leak
Ive had a D3 TDV6 for about 3 years, its done around 135,000 miles and just passed another MOT. I broke down on the motorway & the RAC said its a fuel injector leak.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a repair? I asked my regular mechanic who didn't want to touch it.
I really don't want to get rid of it as it's such a wonderful machine & its never let me down.
I'm in S.E London

It might be the "leak off" (excess fuel return) pipe that has ruptured or sometimes but more rarely the head of an injector.
If you pull off the oil cap and then the engine cover you will get a better idea if an injector head is wet. (if it is don't try to start it)
No big deal to repair for a competent person as it's either a new leak off pipe or a new injector. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
