Full lock to the right and a crack sound |
|
Full lock to the right mainly and I get a crack sound when moving forward slowly or backwards after parking, doesn’t seem like anything breaks but hella scary, would anyone know what it is? Car drives fine. Discovery 4

I have similar though it doesnt need ton be full lock and it happens turning both ways. Possible CV joint though garage couldnt detect significant wear. IF you are getting it on full lock, possibly the lock stops need greased?

Look on the lower arms on the insides there are two stubs stick some grease on there, it could also be a lower ball joint or drop link.
