Front suspension dropping

I was getting a random suspension fault when putting in to lower. Occasionally it would come on when driving. Will clear turning off/on again. No codes registered with Gap tool. I have had it raised with fuse 26 out and the front has lowered over the course of 2 weeks without driving it. So there’s a leak at the front and somewhere that is common to both sides. Any ideas??

My D3 lowered over 2-3 days with fuse removed, both sides evenly.

I brought the valve block O ring kit from 4x4airseals.com (does front, middle and rear valve blocks). Dessicant from compressor stops O rings sealing. Check out posts from Gstuart re blowing lines out (hopefully he comments)

As you can see via video it's an easy job to replace O rings. Biggest job is removing front bumper (40 minute job).

I rebuilt mine a few times and in the end I put a new one on and that cured the problem. The push fit connectors are awesome and a great tip from Gary. Makes the job easier, particularly on the rear......you can do it without removing the front bumper if needs be.

Hi

Many thks guys and so pleased the push fit connectors were useful and indeed come into there own on that back valve block

Indeed ref the lines , disconnected each line both ends one by one and blew them out as the dryer material had gone everywhere seeing it had been neglected by previous owners

Used pressure and vacuum gauges along with isolating valves , shrieder valves to make life easier getting air into the system

Alas also had to replace all 3 x valve blocks as after rebuilding the valve block I vacuum tested them and failed each and every time , in the end because it was in such a mess ended up replacing the

Compressor
Both front air struts as they were leaking after bubble testing them with soapy water
Air tank
3 valve blocks

It was like a new motor after I done that and still drives really nice 3+ years later

Also can pressure or vacuum test the lines to ensure there also ok

Hope that also helps u

That is the cleanest underside of a LR that I have ever seen!

Has it EVER seen a gravel road?

Indeed sees an off road track once in a while 🤣

Picture was taken a little while after treating the entire chassis with dinitrol
