Disco 4 removing throttle body

Is it easy enough to remove the throttle body on a Disco 4 TDV6 ? It’s just the Y piece that looks like it might be tricky to get out of inlet manifold etc. Any tips or is it straightforward?
Cheers in advance
Mike

Make sure you have spare clips for the EGR connectors on the short stub ends that fit into the y piece - everything else is simple enough Thumbs Up

I removed the throttle body tonight to get at the leaking housing underneath. While I had it off, I decided to give it a good clean. The smaller holes on the egr pipes were totally blocked so got it all cleaned up. I took off the motor that controls the air flap and I’m fairly sure I have it all back together ok. The flap itself moves quite freely but it only “springs” in the middle range of its travel. I have to manually move it to full open or full close. Is this normal or do I need to do a bit more cleaning?

Mine did the same when I cleaned it.

This is a good video. The mechanic replaced the part as it was causing the car to fault.
