D3 V8

So, having owned a D4 SDV6 a few years back, I've decided I need a new project. Having read many of the fantastic posts on here, I decided to go for a 2006 V8. 153,000 miles, full service history, 2 owners prior to me, underneath is very tidy, only a bit of cosmetic work to so on one rear sill. Just got it home after a 540 mile round trip. It ran well on the way home, no drive train issues but a long list of jobs, including brakes all round, sunroof drains, washer jets, all the little things I picked up on the way home. Overall, I'm pleased with it and looking forward to getting stuck in!

🤣🤣🤣 that's what I've told myself but I know it's going to happen. It's only parked under there until I sort the sunroof drains

Enjoy.
My V8 is on 205k now and I'd still jump in it and drive anywhere without concern.

I`ve 2005 v8 4.4 with 215k mileage and rock solid... Their engine lasts forever with good maintenance. This is my second LR3 v8. The first one had the same colour as yours but the mileage was 256k and no issues apart from TC wich is a normal wear for that mileage...
Best,
Andi

Enjoy ! I’ve a 2007 ex-police motorway V8 now on 227k, the engine really suits the D3 in my opinion. In the 2 1/2 years I’ve owned it it’s been expensive however all wear and tear so can’t really complain…..2007 V8 S

I picked mine up at a great price but it probably needs £2k spending on it which is a great opportunity for me to learn and then I have the peace of mind knowing what's been done and how well it's been done.
