Is "Normal Height Only" an MOT fail?

So, I've not got back to fixing the wiring problem for my suspension pressure sensor and the MoT is this week. Will the yellow warning light be an automatic fail?

Edit: ...with apologies to those whose ire I have raised by starting a sentence with "So..."! Smile

Had you not started your thread with 'So' I'd have said that you will be fine, not probs, relax.

But as you have then its a no from me. Yellow light needs to be off to pass our Government test....

Had you started with 'Let me first start by saying' then I would have declared your car scrap....

Laughing

Thanks! On a 19.5 year-old D3, any of your three outcomes are very real possibilities and the "normal height only" message may turn out to be the least of my problems!

Officially, it's a fail

The air suspension should be in working order

It is a bit of a grey area though Thumbs Up

Will the fault clear with a diagnostic tool? If so clear all faults when you park up outside the MOT place so no warning lights on the dash. The same warning has just started coming up on mine since the rain last week, so need to check it out.

i think mine passes as its got the amber wobbly car on the dash but it all works as it should and i was told the light on was not a failure so long as the height selection works,my light is on because the reservoir valve wont fill up so the system works but just goes up slower than normal as there is no reservoir to help it up the compressor does all the work, and as I've spent hour trying to fix it and not yet succeeded I've given up until the light goes red oh and clearing the codes does not work as the light comes back on even before you start the car
 please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou
