Timing belt service
Good evening,
It's just dawned on me that I've owned my vehicle for seven years and she is due a timing belt service. When I first bought her I did the major service including getting the uprated oil pump and all the other stuff. I won't need to change the aux belt and pulley this time as I did last summer. My questions are what parts do I need to buy for the timing belt change, and do I need to change the oil pump again? I won't be attempting this myself but if someone could help me with a shopping list of parts my local LR mechanic said he will do the service. Thank you all.

Just call a decent local motor-factor and ask for timing belt kit with association tensioners and pulley idler wheel. I’d do water pump if its on the belt as well, but i dont know if it is or not.
I always use local as parts are always trusted by them and makes returns much easier.
Otherwise who ever does the work will have their own preference and obviously tell them to use quality parts.
Thanks for reminder for mine too

Thanks everyone, I've found the list now, however I still didn't find if I should change the OP after seven years, any suggestions?
If you changed it to the new upgraded pump then all should be good. I changed my oil pump very early on when all the weaker ones were failing, three belt changes later its still going strong, oil light goes out almost instantly.MY2007.
