Rear centre vent trim replacement

I have broken the vents and ferrule mechanism in the back by leaning too much timber against it.
I think I can source a replacement from Ebay, but cant find anything telling me how to remove trim and replace. Can anyone tell me or point me to a video? Thanks

Reading the workshop manual, it looks like you need to unscrew and remove the centre console cover to access the screw which holds the face with the vents, and after that it's just clips. I haven't done this before, so have a look at the below pics for yourself before pulling on anything too hard Laughing

The below is part of the floor console removal and installation procedure. I'm hoping step 11 (and steps 6 or earlier) are not necessary to access the screw in 13. Hopefully once the panel is off you can remove the vent assembly from it and replace just that (?) let us know of your findings for future reference Very Happy

Thank you for this.
Looking at it, it appears that I need to do number 12 to get the console storage pocket out of the way. 12 makes it look like i need to remove 2 screws from the front edge. There is a plate on the front edge above the cupholders. Is there a piccie somewhere that shows me how to remove that plate please?

Oh dear I thought it was accessible through the (removed) cover, but I think you're right... Sad

Either way, the process for removing this part appears a bit involved (a lot of pictures etc) so I'll DM a file Smile Got lots to learn!
