2005 Land Rover Discovery 3 4.4 V8 HSE, Java Black, Alpaca leather, 165k miles
TLDR Well maintained, totally standard, £5,000
I spent a lot of time looking for this one and when I bought it, it had 1 owner from new – 16 years and I’ve been custodian for 3.5 years. I wanted black / alpaca and an HSE
I have the original bill of sale and it was optioned with
Java Black, Alpaca leather, 7 seats

and dealer fitted with

I have a massive file of old MoTs, invoices etc and it seems it was under extended warranty for a number of years and was serviced annually - never had a tow bar
Since then, Clive (CDS of this forum) has looked after it for me and aside from fully servicing it (including diff plugs, oils, belts, filters etc) and minor things like actuators it’s had
AMK Air suspension compressor
Air suspension reservoir tank
Sunroof drains
Air conditioning condenser
Custom stainless steel exhaust system as I couldn’t get a genuine parts one in time for the MoT – it's OEM spec
I put on 4x Goodyear Duratrac tyres
It could do with a machine polish, the wheels need a refurb and the air con needs topping up
Moving house shortly and the drive is smaller and only a single garage rather than my double, so need to reduce the fleet
