Live Values are Not Available

I start the engine on my 2015 D4, go into 'Live Values' in the GAP tool, select the BCM and choose anything to do with the battery all I get is N/A.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
I have emailed the GAP Team and await an answer from them but I thought maybe one of the members of this forum has some insight or advice for me.
Please see the image for a better explanation.

Its interesting that the Vehicle Battery Voltage is showing N/A but at the top of the app it is showing 12.2 volts!
I wonder if the IID Tool is faulty?

The 12v at the top is from the gap tool itself.
The n/a values should be the cars opinion

Unlikely the tool is faulty. Software tweak could be required

Yeah, possibly the BCM ECU needs an update.
I will see what the GAP team say about it when I get a reply from them.
Thanks for your input.

Slight development this morning, the output is flashing between N/A and some data output that seems wrong!
I have uploaded a short video to YouTube.

Not sure about problems in your video, but I have had issues with mine not showing values when I didn’t realise I hadn’t logged in.

Are you using the latest software and app?.

I have a similar problem, trying to read live values on a 2019 RRS and nothing shows up on the menu's to select, I emailed Pat last week but nothing back yet, I think they were still on holidasy until this week.

Flack Thumbs Up

Yes I have checked the software and app are up-to-date.
Patrick has replied to my email asking for the ecu info list to be sent to him, I will do that asap but I have the car partially dismantled again whilst I check the alternator 'Lin' Line.

Have you checked your ODB plug (car and tool). Sometimes any dirt in it could cause bad contacts...

Look at this :

The Plug is brand new and obviously clean, but I will check the port for any dirt.
Thanks for the suggestion.

I had an issue a while ago with my D4 - some values not showing in live values. I resolved it by a hard reset of the car then also removing the Gap IID and reinserting it into the car and quitting the app and restarting it

I am fairly certain that I have already tried that routine (several times) but I will give it another go once I have the car running again.
Thanks for the suggestion Thumbs Up

Still unable to get any live values for the battery or the alternator even after I updated the BCM to the latest software?
Both batteries are brand new as is the alternator, any thoughts anyone?

Could someone check something for me on their own GAP IID Tool please.

When you have the tool open at the options page there is a header bar at the top of the app, on the left of the header it displays the voltage and on the right it displays the engine revs (RPM), both of these fluctuate as the voltage from the alternator changes and the revs from the engine change.

When I go to the 'Live Values' page both the voltage and the revs freeze (don't change).
As soon as I go back to the menu page the header items are working again.

So is this happening on all GAP Tools or is it just mine?
