D3 TDV6 Oil Pump - Most up to date?

Is the LR123716 oil pump the most up to date version that will fit a D3 TDV6, or is there a later one?

I've seen prices varying from £130 - £380 online depending on whether it has an LR or FOMOCO branding...

Thank you, I'm familiar with Christian's oil and oil pump projects, but I don't believe he actually mentions the part number.

The cheap one you mention is an aftermarket part. If there was one part I would not fit as an aftermarket part, it would be the oil pump. However, there is a big difference in price between the genuine LR-labeled one and a genuine Ford-labeled one, even though they are exactly the same in form, fit and function.

Citroën oil pump is also genuine, I'm pretty certain when I bought it from a Citroën dealer it had the Fomoco stamp on the casting.
It was way cheaper than LR.

It looks good. It will be a FOMOCO, I'd say. They teamed up with PSA some years back. Thanks for the PN. I think I had the right one for the LR-branded one, but I'm happy as long as it's OEM.

That's absolutely what you should do, no? Keep everything—that's my motto. I want my D3 to outlive me Thumbs Up Parodying L'Oreal's slogan... (in a whispered voice) Discovery 3, because it's worth it!

Part not available in the UK by Citreon or Peugeot dealers. But I found one (genuine OEM) from UK Partsmaster on eBay - 189.99 these days. Part No. now is just 1001G2.

So many aftermarket versions out there, but this was the only one I could find that definitely stated genuine OEM. I guess there are a lot of people out there who don't appreciate how important this bit of kit is to get right!!

yeah I did remember last nite that I thought I heard someone say it was no longer available.

If you search the forum for 1001G2 you will find this is the citroen part number (usually comes Ford branded)
