I had the fun of working with the FDS out of Long Reach, Queensland as a med student back in 1985. Best 4 weeks I ever had, early morning rises, small aircraft with clear air turbulance on the return flight in the evening, lots of grateful patients who endured so much, much more than a lot of my patients up here do.
Cheers
Duncan

Thanks for that insight to your youth Duncan
The link below shows the back garden of the just closed old centre, with a retired Beechcraft.
It's a tight squeeze inside that fuselage.

Spring 2002, 2 weeks with RFDS out of Meekatharra, absolutely fantastic work and cured me of any fear of flying!
