Back in January sometime damaged my door card when changing the passenger door lock, as I also needed a new driver seat squab,- on back order - it was left until that arrived.
Today it went in for a new door card, seat squab and the PTI blue tooth upgrade. When I went to collected it, they had forgot the door card, after a 30 min wait they took it back into the workshop and tried to swap it with the sales managers door card. like pra ts they took mine off first , then his , then notice the trim on the speaker was the wrong colour. they have now got to order a new one, god knows how long I will have to wait.
And now I find the upgrade to the bluetooth does not work.
What a bunch of w ers
I noted with interest during my rant, there on the desk was a list of all the ranked from what I could see in order of invoiced sales, Wolverhampton was #22, god help those who go to Milton Keynes they are #1

Sounds familiar shiny moose, the S***tstones I bought mine from (and I will never let these clowns near my car again) are just as bad, couldn't even fit a door card on mine properly. I overheard the service people panicking like crazy trying to offload some of their work onto another dealer 'to get them out of the mire'. Utterly incompetent, and Customer Service absolutely appalling.......AVOID AT ALL COSTS IMHO.

Same old Scrapstone story............Quite frankly I would rather walk than buy another vehicle from them. Total waste of time in this part of the country aswell, take your cash and forget about you. Shocking.
Think its about time they started investing some serious ££££ in the service side of their operation, I would worry myself to death about letting them near anything I own again.

same with stratstone nottingham. More interested in selling insurance products than sorting issues with the car.
Won't be using them again, phoned LR and told them the same.

So give LR some feedback about your experiences.
Call LRCS.
They are pretty keen to ensure that 'the customer experience' is at the level they expect.

Oh, and fill out the questionnaires you get in the post following each dealer visit. They are noted and dealers are marked against them.

Tried all of that. Never heard a peep out of anyone! I use small independant specialists for in warranty servicing now and find it much much better. Out of warranty all my vehicles are serviced and repaired by myself

Sad but true! The only bit of good news is I have an absolutley superb independant specialist nearby! Fingers crossed they'll get some sort of 'LR autherised repairer' stamp in the near future so can do warranty repaires aswell. They deserve it more tha a lot of franchised dealers

Cool... maybe a call to LRCS to tell them that you are very happy with the customer service you get from an independent is better than your local approved dealer... always worth telling people this kind of thing.
And :
Name and exclaim them here too for others to defer to
I rang about the lack of the blue tooth upgrade, the receptionist said, they did not do the upgrade / TSB because there was not one.
This is a lie on three accounts, firstly there is, and secondly they said they could do it when I booked it in and thirdly they said they had done it when I picked it up.
Each time I take it there I get the questionnaire a few weeks latter, each time I give a truthful account of how crap they are, and each time nowt changes.

Mine had the browntooth mod. Strange really as that was the only thing they did that worked!! In the same boat as you with the lack of follow up after home truths!!

Up there now, ready to be seen by all! Was hoping to keep them as a trade secret!

Let them flourish... if they are that good, many more will gravitate toward them.
