Problems with Settings Option |
|
Whilst out and about today I noticed that the auto lock function was not working so when i got home I tried to select the "settings option" to turn it on.
However, with key in ignition and turned to first position, I pressed the " i " button when the screen was blank but nothing happened and the screen stayed blank.
Am I missing something here as it has always worked before when I have set the options?
Any suggestions?

Blue is right, it also says in the manual that the key can be in any position
"Any selections you make are associated with the remote control that you used during the process." I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Hi Hobgoblin and Blue Meanie
Thanks for your advice.
I tried it again today and both keys worked when I turned the key to position 2. I was able to set the "Settings".
However, neither key would work when turned to position 1 where I was trying it yesterday, despite what the handbook says!
Anyway thanks again, normality is now restored.

Also found that you can make settings with the key in the ignition and associate it with a memory possition, however if your battery goes flat you loose your settings on the seat memory but if you use the key then the settings are still there.
I use one key and SWMBO uses the other key
