12V perminant feed under dash required for Audio add in

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a battery feed perminant live under the dash no draw just for an ipod HK i-drive so it does not lose its settings.

Any ideas

also how easy is it to get to the back of the fag lighter for a swtiched feed or is there a better place to pick one up.

Many thanks

Have a look at your fuse box and see if you have this connector ( maybee one underneath )

Thats a 12v supply

12 volt switched from the ciggy is a bit of a pain to get out ..you have to strip a lot of stuff to get to the ciggy lighter ..and the smokers pack is a real Censored to get out ...the clips go in opposite ways !!!

You can reach down from behind the aircon unit and splice into the purple wire (from ciggy lighter) without having to get the whole smokers pack out
