I'm looking at buying a Discovery 3 here in WA, can anyone here advise what companies are in Perth that can carry out routine servicing / maintenance and diagnostics apart from the Main dealer that is of course!

Did you talk to George from Canning Land Rover. He is a very good man. Please feel free to tell him your budget regardless of the RRP. He can do the best for you that close to your budget.
For servicing i always go back to Dealer although is more expensive but you have less hassle at the end.

You'll need a servicer with access to the diagnostics programs. As far as I know, that rules out most non-dealer people here in Perth. Kevin (at Jordan RoverTech in Bentley) was looking at purchasing the system at some astronomical cost, but I don't know if he's done that yet. You could give him a ring and ask?
