2nd row seat stuck in fully lowered position |
|
Problem:
With one of the second row seats in its full lowered position, the release cord has become detached from the unlocking mechanism underneath. Because the seat is so low, you can’t get a hand in enough to get it back on, and you can’t get your head down there to see what’s going on because you can’t remove the headrest ( Well, I can’t) .
So, before I wander down to the local LR with this one, anyone else has this? ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

After a hunt for a very small torch, and some bashed fingers, I've just sorted it. The pull cord is not that well attached under the seat if you look, and as I drop the seats at least once a week it must have worked loose.
Light hearted sugestion for LR. On the newbie experence programme, maybe an extra module on painting your hall from out in the front garden , via the letter box ....
( for this and fuse 11, etc etc ) ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

I can see the recommendation now in the local Obs+Gyn ward for a D3... Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
