Back From Red Centre and Simpson Desert Trek
Hey All!
Wednesday 9th of July Dad and I arrived home from the schools 4x4 trip tired, dirty, and accomplished! We had a convoy of 9 vechicles and we traveled from brisbane through to alice springs, uluru, simpson desert, and many more places to name! The trip took place from the 21st of June until the 11th of July.
The Disoc 3 Went prety swell except for one popped tyre and one rolled tyre and the front plastic guard fell off along with a broken mud guard! We made the other jealous with our set up
Next year is going to be funner as they are hinting on going upto cape york to do gun shot! If so, we'll be pimping the car up
Attached below is some photo's to enjoy
Cheers,
Hamish!
Hill may look small but gosh that sand was soft! Started sinking when we stood in it!

Pics 4 & 5 would be great for the calendar - just need to play with the contrast a bit to cut through the dust
The last pic is
And those "rally stripes" make me wonder whether LR should offer them as an accessory! Buck blue with white stripes would look 8)
