19 inch wheels are standard on the HSE V8 in Australia, so someone somewhere will have a set available. T

Hi Nickski,
I suggest that you get on friendly terms with your dealer - and ask about someone upgrading their HSE to "bling" wheels. Then offer to buy them from the customer or dealer.
Other than that - you could try eBay. There is a shop that resells take-offs every now and then - about 10 minutes from my house. Let me find the link to their shop and post again shortly.
Cheers,
Rob.
PS. nice camp trailers!

Rob, Thanks for your reply. I also found that ebay link on the weekend. I contacted them and yes they can sell New factory 19" HSE wheels with New HP tyres for $2600. So I trust my new friend (above) from Trinity beach will be pleased that I have responded so quickly with a positive result.
After speaking with them I decided to go with the 20" storm wheels with new tyres for the same price. I should have them here on Wednesday.
I aready have a set of 18" factory wheels with general grabbers for off road, so I just wanted something purely for on road and to enhance the look. Its my Discos 2nd Birthday this month and every year I buy it a present!!!
I must admit that I also have it booked in next week for an ARB bar and XP9500 winch. I went well over budget but it feels like Im going to have a new car again without the mjaor $$$$. This is the first time I have ever stayed in a vehicle for more than 2 years and I plan on keeping it for another 2 years at least.
Nick

Nick,
Good to hear you are sorted. Just be careful when looking at 20" tyres - they have to be weight rated for the D3 - which is heavier than the RRS Sport. Ie. insurance will not come to the party if you have an accident and will blame the under-rated tyres.
Cheers,
Rob

Rob,
Thanks, I checked them out and they are rated at 106W which is 260kph and 950KG. Thanks again. I will put a picture on my gallery when I fit them. Nick
PS, Neil, everything is cool.
