Fugawi New Topographical Maps release |

Really going to show my ignorance here but has anyone any recommendations or experienceon what sort of hardware this could be run on.I know all about it but my aim is to just keep a record , waypoints etc on the tracks/routes that we encounter on meets etc.

Taking above into account ( see :ignorance) would you recommend considering what they are offering in the Irish Maps ?

The Fugawi mapping is generally very good, although a combination of Global Navigator and the maps you need may be more cost effective if you have a spare laptop, currently GN is $134 (use the US$ purchase site) but Fugawi Marine ENC is $279 but does include a card reader.... Navionics is primarily a sea navigation system but has the same land capabilities as GN If you're planning on expanding your map library then Fugawi is the way forward - I may also have some maps for you to try
