Thumbs up to Lance Dixon dealership in Melbourne

I just got back from having all my waterproof black seat covers and front leather cushions replaced under warranty at Lance Dixon LR dealership. It took a bit longer than expected, but they put 2 people on the job and when finished, washed and vacuumed out the car. I then went to settle up the bill for the loan car and petrol usage, and they said don't worry about it. Very Happy Thumbs Up

It was a very pleasant experience. Thumbs Up

d34me-why did they replace the front leather cushions? Just wondering as my drivers side is looking a bit used after only 7K and just worried it will only get worse.........Ive still got plenty of time on the warranty, but thought it was worth asking.

Neil,
thanks for that! Yes, i had seen the other thread about the colour bleed, but was wondering if there had been a problem with the black leather as he had black covers.

Maybe I should just give mine a wash and see what they actually look like before I get toooo carried away Idea !!!!!!!!!

Hi neophytguy,
The problem was that the black waterproof covers stained his light-coloured (Alpaca?) leather.

Best Wishes,
Peter

It wasn't colour bleeding, but the black waterproof seat covers had stuck to the sand coloured leather seats, and when you lifted them off, the material stuck to the seats. LR was not able to clean the seats so they decided to replace the cushion leather.
