The 1791 code did not work on my 2007 LR3 HSE. Once I enter the code the first time the keypad does not re-appear a 2nd time as indicated in instructions.

Looks like you have one of the newer DVDs Sad

There's a dealer-charge option to overide this in the UK, about an hour's use of the diagnostic system to do it. Not sure if local laws allow this to be done in Canada? There's another option where you can burn a backup copy of the DVD, removing part of the code before your write the file, but obviously there are copyright implications to consider.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I never knew the code was DVD year dependent!

It's making me think twice about upgrading the disk now.

NoDosh - do you know if instructions for editing the DVD image before burning have been put up on here ??

Cheers,
Christoff Thumbs Up

£120 rings a bell but you might want to check with The Large One to clarify. It will be the official version. Thumbs Up
