I was amused upon first seeing those signs in the Eighties.
They could be found at the beginning of any new road surface ....... as if to justify the tax.
Saw one on 30 meters of new bitumin around Nimbin in '88 ....... the sign cost more to erect
than the bl dy tar cost

Has that 3x3 been around for almost 20 years already?
Isn't that just highway robbery in broad daylight?
Don't people get thrown in jail for robbery? I reckon they should make broken election promises a criminal offence
After all, companies can be prosecuted for false advertising or providing false information - why a different standard for pollies?

After I filled up on Thursday at $1.72 for diesel, it dropped to $1.68 on the Friday. I think we are having a bit of a price war here in Tannum Sands... Go you good thing!
