ERR..... V8 Disco with 17s? |
|
This is killing me!! I have been trying to find smaller wheels for my 08 V8 Disco but I am so confused with the brake size and ratings of tires and whatnot....
Can anyone tells me if the 17s that comes with standard Discos can fit in my V8??
I am looking either one of these 2 styles... Don't want to scartch the 19s during offroading activities....

I would LOVE to use steelies but so far I have no luck finding anyone is making steelies for the V8 Discos. Anyone has information on that?
Thanks in advance!

No they won't, V8 has larger brakes so 18" is the smallest you'll get on there The End

First set are 17's but the tyres are not suitable for a Discovery 3 - too low load index.
Second set are almost certain to be 18's, but as he's not detailed it, you would be best to have that confirmed.
You would've need the tyre detail confirmed also, but as they're worn, no real point. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

agree Al, but as he's not mentioned it, it's always safer to have him confirm.

Thank you very much gentlemen! So there is no way I can fit anything smaller than my originals? I just really not feeling comforable offroading with 19s.... But if that's the case, I guess there's nothing I can do about it....

The 19s are fine for offroading, they've held up for me in sand/gravel driving here in Dubai. A lot of people on the forum use 19" with Goodyear Wrangler MTR for mud/rock use.
