What to look for, what to ask about?

Hi there, I'm new to the site.
I've always had the dream of owning my own Landie and it seems that it'll soon become reality!
I'm looking at two vehicles and need some advice:
- Disco 3 TDV6 SE 143 000 km on the clock
- Discovery 3 TDV6 S 134 000 km on the clock.

Both are 2005 models. Are these km's okay or too high? Which is the best (There's only a R10 000 in the price difference)?
Anything else I should be looking at or be asking the salesman about the vehicles?
