Strange and funny telephone 'problem'

My G4D3 should be a southern europe HSE spec. With Premium nav and audio system.
The latest version off the LR Bluetooth system is installed.
The funny thing is that if I use the left side steering wheel voice controll paddle the systems speaks Dutch but the system tells me that there is no phone connected. If I use the right side phone paddles the systems speaks Englisch and the system can connect to my phone and works fine.

Are this 2 complete seperate systems? Roel

Yes that could be correct but why does the left button not find the telephone and the right one does? Roel

The left button is for commands (say Navigation I'm Hungry) and it will take you to the nearest restaraunt Smile

and the right button is for teh telephone system. Bodsys Brake Bible

That is in practise how it works however you can ask on the command button to store a number etc but I don't get connection to the phone. I stored some numbers in the phone system using the phone buttons but I if I ask a list from the command button it tells me the list is empty?
So It looks like it should be able to connect to a phone but doesn't reconise my connected phone. Roel

That's only for the spone numbers you can use the voice command for. You need to get the BT upgrade from LR costs about an hours work normally. Then you can get the contacts in the list. Bodsys Brake Bible

The BT system was installed early september so I would expect that the latest software was installed. Can I see which version off BT software is installed? And what should it be? Roel

You've got the dealer fit PTI which isn't integrated with the rest of the infotainment system like the factory fit kit. Sounds like it's working normally to me, use the right hand buttons and save names/numbers in the directory by dictating them The End
