whats best replica or original?
Just saw on the RSS forum that original stormers are weight rated at 900kg
My replicas are rated at 1050kg, would that make my rims beter than original or can they stamp just anything on rims?05 TDV6 HSE AUTO 7seats, tonga green/alpaca, alpine roof, privacy glass, tow kit, wood kit, 20" stormers n summer, 18" in winter, fancy exhausts, rear seat ent., club fooked turbo!
RANGE ROVER 1995 SOFTDASH (sold)
RANGE ROVER 1997 P38 (sold)
TRIUMPH TR6 OD
LOTUS EXCEL SE
AUDI A2 TDI
I've seen Rolex and Louis Vuitton stamped on replicas before so why not stamp anything they like on the rims?
'Made is China' isn't usually a good sign so I'd check for that.......
Are they 'replicas' with no manufacturers stamps or are they a recognised make which just happen to look like RRS stormers?
BTW, have you found a hall-mark on your rims??? The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

hi
i contacted every single rim retailer in the UK over the phone + the ones at Pborough show
loking for V spoke 20 inches for RRS
about copies, they are all made in china (whatever the guy say they are made in Italy) the are the exact same one with a similar paint job and cheap laquer
for the price of imported copies you can have original take offs (read brand new, delivery miles) from professional / dealerships.
or even brand new ones from other legit retailer that only sell the best : the original
again, while one's at it copying a wheel design/specs, why not add a few kilos up to 1050 ...
why would you sport a fake rolex when everyone knows (soon or later) that it's fake ?
i made my desicion
about those wheel, consider this should you be in an accident, would you give your chance to a chinese wheel manufaturer using unknown metal quality, or EURO NCAP tested product ?
i am not against anything chinese, i am again the principal of copying then producing cheap tuff that look like great stuff.
if some is cheap (inexpensive) it must have a reason for this.
then if you pay your copies the same price as real one, someons is making fat money on your back.
edit : DO NOT BUY COPIES (wheels, watches, car parts, but also medicines...)l=Oo\________/oO=l l:Ool======loO:l
