replacing spare wheel
Hi everyone, i'm new to write this forum! I have had a lot of helpful tips you guys!
Anyone changed original sparewheel to full size 255/60-18 wheel with original alloy rims? Is there any fear that fixinghook/wire will damage the center of rims, or any other problems when it will be closer to ground when driving offroad?

Hi Kari
Welcome!
The hook wont scratch the alloy as the hook catches the wheel on the inside - as in the seen side of the wheel will be up touching the body and it will be protected there. When offroading the wheel is a bit of a bonus as it can take punishment for the underside - hard job to do alot of damage to it.
Not sure about sizes, fit etc regarding the 18" as am on 17"s myself A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

I have 18" rims and it fits fine. I took it off road and it was fine, just got very muddy. As Tanters said the hook is on the inside so it won't damage the wheel.
The big risk is somebody stealing the spare wheel if it is full size.

No problem - mine came with a full size 19" alloy spare. Make sure that you put it face UP as others have said. The other day I went to a tyre place and the attendant almost put it in upside down.
by the way, considering how much work it takes to get the damn thing out with proper tools - if someone actually is ABLE to steal the fullsize spare on a locked vehicle at normal height, they almost deserve to have it

Thanks for answers, it fitted perfectly. And doesn't even come that low. Original spare seems quite light if i have to change it on at a forest in the middle of nowhere. I think wintertire works better as a spare to AT2:s.
