POI : A glut of petrol stations |
|
As you have no doubt noticed - petrol stations are dissapearing fast (& turning into polish car washes)... now i would not expect the discs to always be bang up-to-date however the satnav POI still seems to contain petrol stations that were closed down YEARS ago. i regularly pass a site that still has a fuel icon that was demolished and turend to flats many years back.
I also notice double icons, one for the old Texaco station and one for the BP that replaced it (several years ago)....
So while the roads seem to be kept well updated do navteq simply not bother to update the POI ?
