Squeaking/Sticking Parking Brake |
|
Anyone had this problem? - local dealer (Stafford Landrover) very helpful, had experienced it before and replaced the rear park brake shoes with a modified version. I thought they'd cracked it but fault re-appeared, they're gonna change cables now but dubious as to whether this'll do it.
Be interested to hear if anyone's had this? One life live it!

It's one of my "issues/problems" on my list.
Not let the dealer have a go at them yet as it is just part of my bigger picture

Could just be a case of over adjustment it's critical that the manual adjuster is backed off the right number of clicks to allow the wheels to spin free. one other thing -after new shoes are fitted there is a particular bedding procedure to be carried out-i'd hope your dealer should know this but you never know.As of yet i have never come across a cable problem
