disco ad on TV has changed
This might be old news, however I have just seen the advert with the eskimo dog sled thing and it has changed! The dogs and the eskimo now get in the car and the Disco is pulling the sled!!
Trivial I know! but it's better than big brother. 8)Some say the glass is half full. Others that it is half empty. I say 'Are you drinking that?"

Only just seen this for the first time tonight - should keep the eco-friendly types happy - burning a tiddy bit of diesel carrying 2 people and 3 dogs!Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Suspect there was a lot of negative feedback about the original version. Personally, I thought it was awful and conveyed the message that the driver was a t****r. As soon as I saw it I said to the better half that he should have stopped and piled all the dogs in along with Mr Eskimo to make a better point. Maybe I was not alone. Talking of car ads, loved the Golf one singing in the rain. Read about how much work went into that - quite amazing.

At least the TV ad isn't as bad as the radio ad, which claims that the D3 drives like soft caribou poo Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
