Squeeky noise from Rear Diff

Hi

I was driving to work this morning and got a transmission fault error and the car dropped to access height. Took it to LR Bedfordview and discovered that the rear diff actuator may be faulty. have any of you guys had a similar problem?

Currently waiting to see if LRSA will replace the part as it is just noisy and may not be the problem that triggered the transmission fault.

I've got a metallic scraping noise which the dealers have put down to the rear diff, this is up for change in a couple of weeks, do not know which bit has gone wrong though

I had initial issues with the actuator . Would normally spit its dummy in stop start traffic and give me transmission errors

Hi Heine,

Did LR replace the Diff or did the problem sort it self out?

Only the actuator - apparently a very small job - I waited for it
