Interesting - have you tried Lindacre of Ipswich (now Hunters)? Could you compare?
Pre-Hunters I was quite impressed, but don't know if the standards are the same now.
Have used Peter Scott of Wymondham for first year service and Two Counties Garage of Rushall for second. Both top notch independents. Intend to use a stealer for the last service before end of warranty, and I want to use one that will be thorough.
I'm on a whisky diet. I've lost three days already.

Hi Frogall
Considered Ipswich too far, although heard good reports about them from friends
Independants can be cheaper but how does it effect warranty
Can only speak of my experiences with Hammond's as excellent, unless others have experiences to share?

OK chap - just a thought in case you had tried both.
No warranty problems with the independents - both are LR trained & approved - and can show you the certificates. I'm on a whisky diet. I've lost three days already.
