Information please, underdash fitting

I intend to fit a UHF and electronic brake controller with the remote workings underneath the steering wheel .
Can anyone tell me how I can access that area? And can anyone tell me how I can remove the upper glove box so I can check the area around the LH aircon vent to bring wiring down from the empty satnav area.
TIA

Underneath the steering wheel; Just pull it off! It' only held by 'bravery' clips at the top and hinge slots at the bottom

To get behind the "nav" area, grab both sides of the grey trim that runs across the top of the stereo and down both sides of the centre console, and pull, starting from the bottom. It all comes off in one peice. Be brave, it just clips in. I did it to put my nav unit in.

Accessing the area under the empty sat nav area can be gained by pulling off the surround from around the radio. The whole surround comes off complete with the top air vents. Start at the bottom - grip both sides and pull to towards the rear of the car. It is held on with about 6 clips. This should give you full access to the area
