The problem of BT authorisation generally rests with the phone rather than the D3 to be honest Wink Delete the bond, try pairing it again and then set it as authorised Thumbs Up

TFC will confirm but I think the "no phone fitted" message can also mean there is no phone kit fitted hence there may be a problem with the car unit. Mine displays this and has no LR BT kit fitted at all.
 Cheers

Fair point but that's rare Simonsi... it also says no phone fitted if the BT connection has been lost for some reason. If it worked fine this morning then I would re-try the pairing and authorising process first and then a different phone before deciding to let doom set in Wink

I have got exactly the same issue. Everything working then for whatever reason the phone no longer says it is connected and the Disco says no phone connected either. The mobile recognises Land Rover if I search for Bluetooth Connections but will not connect and will not ask for a security code. Solution. Delete the pairing on the mobile then search again, input security code and all is then well. I did this yesterday and today it has lost the connection again. Big Cry

Any suggestions or solutions?

I should add that I have never lost connection during a call. The phone just won't reconnect to the Disco when I get into the car.

I have no such setting on my phone Confused . Prior to it losing the link with the Disco yesterday, it had worked fine for over a week and multiple calls.

Just made a call to Stratstone LR in Cheltenham and they said they have seen others do this so bring it in without an appointment and they will check it over while I wait. What excellent service Very Happy I will do that in the morning and report back.

More often than not it's the phone.... but for peace of mind there's no harm in having it checked out Thumbs Up

Visited Stratstone and they said "More often than not it's the phone". Did someone else mention that on here? Whistle Laughing Thanks DG. They said my phone is campatible but if the software version is not the one that matches the LR system, it is quite common for the phone to connect for a while then lose the connection. Sounds familiar. Coincidently, when I took the phone battery out and put it back in, it connected with the Disco again. Stratstone advice is:

- Go to http://www.landrover.co.uk/gb/en/ownership...tivity.htm to check phone is compatible and which software version works with the Disco.
- If software update is required (which is on mine) the LR site explains what to do.

I subsequently spoke to Nokia to get update and now need to take my phone to a Nokia shop and they will "flash it" Shocked Cost £16.

I will update when this has been done.

chris1967 - hope this works for you.

Just had some warranty work carried out and asked the stealers to upgrade the BT so I could get the phonebook on the display unit. They said my 06 HSE could not be upgraded and that a new bluetooth module is £330 Shocked . Is this right or as usual are the stealers not bothered to check out the issues and this is the easy answer.

You can usually get nokia firmware revisions & relevant software off of their website rather than pay them £16 & have to find the dealer to do it.

Just a thought......

Thanks. Sadly my phone is one of the very few you can't update online Sad but then it is 3-4 years old.
