Muted Sat Nav
I have an issue with my Sat Nav.
It is permanently on 'mute'. I select a route and all works ok, except I do not hear any voice commands. If I notice they should be happening - as the screen is indicating a turning. I push the icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen - Speaker 'button'? - and I hear clearly.
Then when it gets to the next command, all quiet again. Once again I have to push this 'button' and I hear.
Any ideas please.
Thanks.Finally got one......Silver HSE.

The button you are pressing is the 'repeat last command' button, which is why she goes quiet at the next command. As you slide down the banister of life

Alternatively you may be unmuted but with the volume turned right down, on our RRS adjusting the volume while she is (or should be) speaking adjusts the satnav vol, might be worth trying that....finding out when she is talking might be the challenge....Cheers
No need to wait until she speaks, hold down the tone button on the IHU for a couple of seconds to get to the menus for changing the nav volume offset amongst other stuffThe End

Simon, I was about to ask that too. Wheres this IHU button. My darling 11 year old loves the iphone ipod, and loud. But everytime the poxy SATNAV kicks in it blows me eardrums off.
The Devils Child thinks its highly amusing

If you have voice commands, you can say "Navigation voice guidance on [or off]"
