I have a 54 plate HSE and I am unable to get the phone facility to work. I do not have the cradle, but I should be able to blue tooth? I have tried this and two phones, both nokia which are on the LR list of phones that should work, do not pair. I press the phone button in the LR and I just get the message no phone connected. Can anyone help?
I have had the car for 6 months, it has never worked, I just got the ar$e with it. Now i would reallly like to get the function working.
Thanks

Which phone button in the LR are you pressing ?
Dose the phone actually find the bluetooth ...either LR or Ford ?
I didnt think bluethooth was fitted to the 54 model ..unless it has the LR aftermarket kit ( or another fitted )
Is there 2 controls on the right hand side of the steering wheel ...a green and red button ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

BLUE TOOTH ISSUES, PAIRING |
|
as long as the vehicle has the bluetooth option, phone buttons on the steering wheel. you should be able to pair your phone.
vehicle running
search for bluetooth devices
land rover
connect to land rover
code 2121 (nas code)
use land rover as a hands free device? yes
phone is paired
you can request from the dealer to install "phonebook over bluetooth" it is a download to the cell. tele. control module so your phonebook is displayed.
i hope that this helps. if not check the settings in your phone, update your phone if nec.

Tony it sounds to me as though you don't have PTI (Personal Telehone Integration) installed in your motor which would mean that bluetooth is not present...do you have what looks like a small black plastic upturned boat on your roof near the tailgate?? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The button on the stereo is standard ..i have a bluetooth kit and it still says no phone fitted when i push mine .
You could well have a faulty module ...if you pull back the green button on the right hand of the steering wheel ..does it beep and the lady say "device please " G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

No probs DG ..the more answers the better
Although i doubt he will have the pod on the roof as they never put the PTI kit on a 54 car ( so i belive) also he says he has not got the cradle ..so there would be no need for the pod on the roof . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

More the better guys, thanks.
No boat on the roof, not with the car at the moment, will check when I get home about the green pull button. If i remember from memory when I pull the green button it does bleep, if i pull it too many times it disables the stereo and takes auot 10 mins until the stereo will come on again.
