Cooper ST tyre pressure

Hi Lads,


Put my coopers back on for winter/ upcoming event and people keep telling me not to put more than 30 pressure into both front and back.


Looks a bit flat for my liking - should it be 32 up front and 34 at the back? Mostly road miles so I assume the harder the better Rolling Eyes A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

I run mine at 2.6 and 2.8 Bar for tar driving

Thanks heine Thumbs Up but i usually avoid all types of pressure so not sure what that converts to Whistle A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

2.6 BAR = 37.7 PSI

Is that ala the sticker on the door?

I just took that for the conti or other standard road tyre. Just thought best to check if different for the coopers. Thumbs Up A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

I know its quite high - but it cuts down on road noise and the car seems "lighter" .

"The Lighter" as you describe it, is normally a good indication of over-inflation. I could be wrong but am trying to remember what i was taught many moons ago. Shocked I think if your steering is lighter then its definately over-inflation. POT NOODLE NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2010 WINNER
