OBD & hacking the message centre

This may be a special query to mr Turbochip: by means of your OBD serial programming technology, would you be able to change a couple of literals in the dashboard message center display?

Italian D3S have messages translated in Italian. The "settings" menu is translated as "impostazioni" (right) but this is misspelled as "iNpostazioni" (elementary school mistake). The residual autonomy (i suppose it is "range" in english) is translated as "gamma", which really means nothing ("Gamma" in italian is colour or choice variety).

Could such amenities be corrected via a painful OBD-serial hack?

Thank you!

If the original configuration data file in LR 'T4' can be altered (hacked sounds so harsh) then I suspect it is possible.

JE might know a thing or 2 about altering 'T4' Laughing
