Toyo 255/55x19 from AJS
Have had these on for over a week now. Can't believe how quiet they are compared to the Scorpions that came off. Long and frosty grass was not a problem either
As for drivabilty, I tend not to scream round corners but the respose is not woolly or slack, oh you know what i mean, if i point the car left, it turns left etc
Thanks Andy and the boys for sorting me out with 4 tyres and pads all round (lancaster wanted 400quid for that job!!!!!!!!!!), great service and advice, i will be back

I just put on a new set of Toyo Open Country G-02 plus winter tyres and so far so good. I was not very happy with the standard all season Goodyears but I don't think many people rate them.
In the dry the Toyos are quiet, smooth and the steering is lighter than before. I have not used winter boots before but they feel good in the snow although I have not tested them in the real deep stuff yet. Last year I was able to get stuck but put it down to the Goodyears having no bite.
According to the web site the tyres have walnut shells in the compound for better traction. Good enough for me, sold..
