Hey Hassle
Does the engine heat not provide the heat source for the interior then?

It does when it warms up but diesels take a long time to warm hence the supplementary FBH 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Yes and No, the current diesels are so finely worked that the provide enough energy to propel you forward but not enough waste energy to keep you warm (ie 300 tdi in a defender nice engine in winter you wear more clothes inside than outside). Also they take time to warm up a 20 minute journey might just start getting warm in the cabin the FBH is designed just to provide heat

Point them to Land Rover's GTR web site (Global Technical Resource). There are one or two pages of technical manuals and training that they should consider reading

So yesterday my D3 didnt have a FBH
Today it does and it was checked last friday and was working ok , it shouldnt kick in until the temp drops to -5 so they say !
This afternoon they have found out why it doesnt work and its because one module wasnt talking to the other module !
Im at my wits end with them
