Wooohooo remap done!!cheers Green Oval Guys |
|
Just had Remap done by Green Oval Garage first off great service as always crap coffee as always!!D3 feels so much smoother on setting off, and pulls right through the gear change, mid range is really what I was looking for as I never expected a 2.5 tonne monster to be a GTI off the mark. And it's the mid range that feels the most improved so far can't stop grinning even my work noticed the engine note sounds diffrent on revving(don't know if thats me just to justifing the money spent in my head tho)Can't wait fot trip to Newcastle tommrow and then I let you know about MPG etc.Javed D3 Base, 19inchFFRR WHEELS,SATNAV,PARROT KIT,CHROME WING MIRRORSI, AUTOLOGIC REMAP AND a FAT CHOC LAB IN THE BACK.

As the yanks say, there's not substitute for HP
In my case about 500nm torque, up from 440nm, what
that is in ft/lbs, got on clue
But I love it D3 bullbar-spots-roof rack with spots-ladder-long range tank-swing out spare wheel carrier- upgraded tow bar-dash console-internal water tank-duel awnings-drawer system & T T.

Pug Pug Not sure on the exact figure but the Autologic graphs are on here www.greenovalgarage.co.uk/green-oval-perfo...phs-4.html
My personal feeling is that as the car has gained about 20-25bhp it talks about 240bhp but guess thats maximum it can pump out i'm not really that into the fact figures side, i just felt that my D3 being a manual felt a bit gutless I just wanted it to feel a bit smoother and more torquey high up the gears as most of drivings on the motorway. Brian did say there are diffrent remaps available but he did mine just as i wanted for, for under £400 can't grumble really!!!if had a bit more time I would have used TFC or Bell Autos but i've got to know Brian quite well and he gave me a cracking discount I'm only keeping car to October time, as thats when I can hand it back to black horse and if i get another LR as long it's TDV6 he will swap it over for me. Just leave it in 4th mostly around town Big test will be later today up the A1 from near Leeds to Newcastle Uni,so eager to set off I'm about to get my other jobs done before my appointment.Hopefully will get a better idea of MPG gains if any in next few days but honesty if you have a manual get it done far less gear changes!!
