Clearly a road tire - but recommended for that use.

I had Toyo on my Cooper S and was mucho happy Thumbs Up

Also have them on the 996 - also very happy there.

Anyone had these on their D3/LR3 yet? 08 LR3 SE V8 - 02 D2 SE7 V8

I had them on an X5 a few years ago and they were very poor on road compared to the Michelins they replaced.

Noisy, poor wet grip and poor grip turning in to quick corners.

They are cheap and last well though! .

Load rating is good - 255/60R18 112V XL (2469 lbs Max load)

This is a new tire, so would not have been available on your X5 at that time - probably Proxes S/T (previous model) or the Open Country tire were used.

Quite a difference in tread pattern on this new tire.

On my Cooper S and 911, the Proxes T1R tires have provided great grip, excellent wet weather performance, and a quiet ride, so my experience has been positive with the brand.

But as its the use of the specific tire that provides the final experience, I'm still looking for anyone who's used this exact tire to provide comment...

The advertising looks promising - you appear to be able to pick-up hot hookers just by rolling on Toyo! Shocked
