Parrot 3200 £149.99 inc fitting at Halfords

Hi,

Just seen Halfords have the 3200 at £149.99 inc free fitting - seems a good price.

Rang my local branch who aren't sure it works in a Disco 3 with satnav, so I have to take it in for them to check - anyone know for sure?

They did say it required a £20 wiring loom to make it work, but still for £170 fitted I thought this was ok.

Cheers, Toby.

Hi there. Firstly you must have doubts about Halfords fitting as you may have got it done. They are correct though, you need a JAGUAR audio/satnav cable also.

But you really want Halfords to fit it under a gazzebo in their car park alongside the spotty oike fitting wiper blades n bulbs and classing himself a fitter Whistle

For that price you can get ANY audio/alarm fitter to do a pro job thats guarenteed and it will cover your unit and D3, if I am right in remembering Halfords will only cover the Parrot and car till you leave the car park, then afer its only the purchased item covered.

Be very wary too of any untrained fitter, including yourself if you have doubts. Its very easy to overpower the AMP, then that naffs your stereo.

My advice for piece of mind is to go with a pro install, most are mobile, and make sure you get a DASHMOUNT mount for it too. Look in my gallery, its all there in the Parrot 3200 install.

Thumbs Up
