Hi all, would appreciate a bit of help with my brake lights. Was pointed out yesterday that only my brake light on top pf the boot is the only one working, ive checked bulbs and they are all fine.
Any suggestions as to what the problem could be or is it a trip to the stealer??
Thanks in advance.

"Fine" as in replaced with known working good ones? Must also be a fuse for them somewhere but I haven't got my car or manual to hand.... Cheers

swop the tail light ones with the brake light bulbs to check if they are working, they're both the same bulb

As already said, do a simple swap. they do tend to "go" in a short time interval. Unlikely to be fuse related unless you have blown two fuses . . .
And welcome to the mad house "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Replaced bulbs last night with new ones and then changed fuses this morning and still no joy!!
Strange that they have gone at the same time as i know they were working tuesday as i got tyres replaced and checked them when the fitter put the car in the bay.
looks like a trip to chipperfield LR
Thanks for the welcome, been viewing for some time and have found out a lot of usefull bits from here.

Exact same fault on mine today - dealer said it's not uncommon for both sides to go at the same time (!) and it's getting done as part of the service so I'll find out what the issue was tomorrow. Either going to be two new globes or a warranty fix, I suspect. - Jeff K -
