I had a look at this and the cheaper ATC 2000 and 3000 at the Autosports show. I came to the conclusion in the end that I would mount it mostly inside the car, therefore a cheap camcorder could be bought for a similar cost to the 5000 but would be more flexible and not much bigger.

I looked at a couple of options, inc updating my DV camcorder, as i have a bullet cam i used on the bikes. This looked better suited for using in the D3, as well as hopefully being able to use it when i'm out flying the falcon. Whether it will stand up to the vibration of the 4 stroke motocrosser, that's to be seen.ATB
