I did mine a few weeks agao , but i only changed the oil at 50K which is early compared to the LR recomended.
It is advised if the oil pan/filter is changed at the same time, especialy if its on its mileage.
I chose to do my oil early and in a few more weeks ill do it again but this time with a new pan/filter, then i will leave for another 20k or so.

Is this for gearbox oil change? If so, auto or manual?
Official guidline for non arduous country market is 150K miles or 10 years for gearbox oil change.

Question guys .
If the initial dry fill is 9.5 lt , but the refill is only 4 lt then is this not
a mix down rather than a replacement ?
How does one replace the majority of the oil ?

Yes it is a bit of a mix down realy whichis why i chose to do this with no sump/filter and i will do the same again soon but this time with the filter.
I belive you can get a kit that will connect to the box and flush the full system and torque converter also, but im unsure where from.
One of my friends has seen one at LR developement.

Can i do a flush without replacing the filter.

My answer is above realy, i changed the 4lts without changing the oil pan/filter
I will leave for 2 or 3 k and change again but this time with a new pan/filter.

.. Probably a sintered bronze or ceramic sheet ..... don't you love the way we have to buy
this whole plate to get a little filter and magnet.
